The UniNet IPR is a Digital IP Recording/Monitoring/Management system designed for network camera systems. The system is available in two formats, a mini-tower package and an X1 unit.

The mini tower package consists of a desktop-sized server with 1 Terrabyte storage expandable to 1.6TB, a 4-camera license expandable to 9 cameras, and software that can be installed on multiple PC’s.

The X1 unit is available for larger systems that will handle up to 16 cameras also with 1.6TB of storage in a RAID array format. The mini-tower is mainly designed around the needs of Law Enforcement and Government agencies who do not need a large amount of cameras, but want the versatility normally only associated with larger systems.
The Video transmission is completely secure by the use of both VPN and SSL with 128-bit encryption. Access to the IPR server is controlled through the use of passwords. Users can be assigned to one of several groups with individual levels of authorization. An internal firewall also keeps unauthorized viewers from getting into the cameras. Cameras are able to be viewed and recorded from multiple monitoring PC’s, all functions can be completely controlled remotely over the network or internet. All camera functions including P/T/Z can be controlled directly from the software using a pop-down toolbar located right in each camera’s viewing window.
The IPR server can be accessed either from the include Z-View software package or directly from your web browser. The software package, which can be loaded on multiple PC's, has the full range of functions available and can access multiple servers at once. Access through a web browser is provided for off-site or remote viewing, and allows the user to view multiple pages from a single server.
The server itself is NOT based around Windows operating system, and therefore avoids some of the unfortunate troubles inherent to using Windows with video management software. Multiple views can be established using any cameras from various sites and combining them into one group. For example, in an agency with five field offices each doing two investigations, the cameras can be viewed and recorded at each office and also all cameras simultaneously viewed at the central office location. There is a full audit trail established for every change made, including changes by the administrator. The system can be used with many different IP cameras currently, see the data sheet for the list. The FIFO WORM storage ensures no manipulation of video data, and the system writes CD/DVD ISO images directly from the software.
PLEASE NOTE: The IPR system is now available as just a software package which can be loaded onto a customer-provided PC. The required specifications for the computer can be found on the datasheet link below.
The screenshot above is an example of what your system will look like using the Z-View software. This is showing 9 cameras in one screen with PIP and drop-down toolbar menus for camera control including P/T/Z functions, etc. Each camera's drop-down menu is individually created for that particular model.
